Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 1, 2026
1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the rules and guidelines governing the use of Valorcy's platform, services, and infrastructure. By using Valorcy, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service. This policy applies to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
Valorcy is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and lawful platform for all users. This policy is designed to protect our users, our infrastructure, and the broader internet community from abuse, while ensuring that Valorcy remains a productive and positive environment for building websites.
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of Valorcy after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not use Valorcy to host, display, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, content that promotes hate speech, violence, terrorism, discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
You may not host content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrighted material, trademarks, trade secrets, or patents, unless you have the express authorization of the rights holder. This applies to text, images, videos, music, software, and all other forms of protected content.
You may not host content that contains malware, viruses, trojans, worms, spyware, adware, or any other harmful code. Phishing pages, scam sites, and sites designed to deceive users into revealing personal information are strictly prohibited.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Valorcy to send unsolicited bulk email (spam), whether directly or through third-party scripts hosted on our platform. You may not use our services to harvest email addresses or other personal information from users without their consent.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Valorcy's systems, networks, or the accounts of other users. This includes port scanning, vulnerability probing, brute-force attacks, or any other form of unauthorized intrusion. You may not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Valorcy or any services accessed through our platform.
You may not use Valorcy to operate as an open proxy, participate in distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, mine cryptocurrency, or engage in any activity that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure. Automated data extraction, web scraping, and crawling of Valorcy-hosted sites without the site owner's permission is prohibited.
4. Resource Usage and Fair Use
While Valorcy offers generous resource allocations on all plans, we require that all usage be reasonable and not adversely affect the performance or availability of our platform for other users. Accounts that consistently consume excessive resources may be contacted to discuss optimization or plan upgrades.
You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Valorcy's hosting infrastructure without a prior written agreement. Using Valorcy accounts to provide hosting services to third parties on a shared basis is prohibited unless explicitly authorized under an Enterprise or reseller agreement.
Valorcy reserves the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that significantly exceed normal usage patterns or that engage in activities that degrade the performance of our shared infrastructure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action.
5. Enforcement and Consequences
Valorcy monitors for violations of this policy through automated systems and manual review. When a potential violation is identified, we may investigate the matter and take appropriate action. Actions may include issuing a warning, temporarily restricting access, removing offending content, or terminating the offending account.
For serious or repeat violations, Valorcy may terminate the offending account immediately without prior warning. In cases involving illegal activity, we may report the violation to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
If your account is suspended or terminated for a policy violation, you may appeal the decision by contacting our trust and safety team at trust@Valorcy.io within 30 days of the action. We will review appeals on a case-by-case basis and respond within 15 business days.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or activity on Valorcy that you believe violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately. You can submit a report by emailing trust@Valorcy.io or by using the "Report Abuse" feature available on Valorcy-hosted sites.
When reporting a violation, please provide as much detail as possible, including the URL of the offending content or site, a description of the violation, and any supporting evidence. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Valorcy does not act as an arbiter of disputes between users and does not take sides in interpersonal conflicts. However, we will take action against content or behavior that clearly violates this policy or applicable law. Reports are handled confidentially to the extent permitted by law.
